Dating Research Uncovers Two Different Types of Friends with Benefits Relationships

Initial research on casual sex has revealed two different types of friends with benefits relationships.

“Pure” friends with benefits occur between existing friends and involve physical gratification, as well as emotional intimacy.

“Sex buddy” relationships tend to occur with strangers or acquaintances and only involve physical gratification. If you’ve experienced either of these relationships we’d love to hear your experiences.

  5. I had a relationship like that in college. I met this girl at a party and we became acquaintances. The only time we would see each other was for sex. It was fun until we started to developed feelings for one another, so we decided to call it quits before someone got hurt.

  10. I agree with your statement about the two different types of friends with benefit relationships..Because in this generation today, when dating there were kind of people who had something in their minds that they wanted to happen after dating.(well,as what I had observed)
But there were still people with pure intention in dating.
